
Futuremark recommends using its own Futuremark file format that is a streamlined format for the 3D content data from the art software. The file includes all geometry, textures, materials, effects, objects and animations. The file format is especially optimized for the Kanzi engine. The Futuremark format data file can be further compressed using e.g. ETC or other texture compressions methods as well as modify the structure of the data for example to fit the target hardware architecture more optimally. As this data file is compatible with the Kanzi engine, it can be used (in addition to the desktop development environment) as is, also in the target hardware. |
