Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU Cooler Review

Fri 2009-05-29 - Posted by Patrick "MACMAC" MacMillan
Guru3D have posted a review of the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus CPU cooler.

Here's what they had to say:

"You know there's only so much you can say or write about heatpipe based CPU coolers these days. Really bad ones do not exist anymore. So from a decent design a manufacturer always need to move forward and improve it's features and aesthetics. Cooler Master is doing this by constantly making intricate little changes that help improve the overall compatibility and quality. With the Hyper 212 Plus they definitely succeeded.

As such let me sum up some things that have been improved over the original design. First of, this cooler is much more quiet, which we like very much. Overall, the performance is good and might be even improved over the initial model thanks to the new cooling fan and CPU block. That fan is noise dampened by a little rubber struts. Simple yet quite effective, this cooler really shines at being silent."

Thanks to many little tweaks to the original design, Cooler Master have created a wonderful cooler with a focus on quiet operation, yet without compromising on cooling performance.
