Cooler Master CPU Cooler Review Roundup
Frostytech, Modders-Inc, OCModShop, and Verdis Reviews have reviewed various CPU cooler models from Cooler Master.
Let's see what they had to say:
- Frostytech: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Plus Socket 1156 Heatsink Review:
"Given that the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus follows in the footsteps of quite a few exposed heatpipe heatsinks, these results are not too surprising. The 120mm fan Coolermaster supply with the Hyper 212 Plus is rated for 21-77CFM, and while moderately audible at full speed is easy to live with.
If you happen to have an energy efficient processor (85W or 65W TDP) you'll get the best of both worlds by running the Hyper 212 Plus at reduced fan speeds where operation is essentially silent. In any event, the Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus is an economical and well performing tower heatsink which is suitable for Intel 775 Core 2 Duo/Core i7 and AMD Phenom II processor. Recommended."

- Modders-Inc: Cooler Master Hyper N620 CPU Cooler Review:
"Did the Cooler Master Hyper N620 hold up to the testing? Absolutely, it clearly showed that it was up to the task of cooling our 3.87 GHz Core i7 processor. At the 3.87 GHz overclock we had load temperatures in the mid to upper 70's which is pretty damn good for an air cooler. Although the Hyper N620 is slightly larger and more costly that the little brother, the Hyper N520, it had no problems out performing it. The size might be an issue for some chassis designs, but it should fit nicely in just about any configuration. Clearance around the Hyper N620 once installed on my EVGA X58 board was a little snug, but offered plenty of room for the taller memory modules. It has a nice clean look to it which really stands out with the Blue LED fans. I have no complaints about the Hyper N620 when it comes to the noise side. I actually couldn't hear the fans on the cooler. It was drowned out by the case fans and the GPU fan. Overall you can't go wrong with the Cooler Master Hyper N620."

- OCModShop: Cooler Master Hyper TX3 Heatsink Review:
"So in the end, Coolermaster once again restored my faith in their products. They won out over Evercool and especially the stock heatsink. And if that temperature difference alone isn't enough to make you want to buy the TX3, there's also the prices. The TX3 can be had for under $25 on most online storefronts (check latest prices). That's half the cost of the Transformer 6, which it outperformed, and only 1/3 more than the stock cooler. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you the Coolermaster Hyper TX3. The price is right, and so are the temperatures."

- Verdis Reviews: Cooler Master V8 CPU Cooler Review:
"Looking at the cooling performance alone, the V8 is an exceptional product producing consistent results at both stock and overclocked speeds and beating all the competition to stake its claim as the best CPU cooler, to date, in terms of the figures, that we have reviewed.
For the silent enthusiasts, the inclusion of a fan controller is a welcome one and allows the balance between cooling and silence to be set according. That said, even high fan speeds are not particularly loud."

Frankly, every one of these CPU coolers are solid, but the Hyper 212 Plus is one of the very best performing coolers on the market.
