Corsair Obsidian Series 800D Case Reviews
Driverheaven, Metku, and techPowerUp have reviewed the exceptional Corsair Obsidian Series 800D, a high-end full tower ATX case.
Let's see what they had to say:
- Driverheaven:
"The first aspect of the Obsidian 800D which impresses is the quality of the main chassis. The case feels exceptionally solid with very little flex; it would take some considerable effort to cause any damage to this chassis. Additionally the finish applied to the main body is flawless, completely smooth and even. We also have to praise Corsair for their support, this product has a 2-year warranty though it has to be said that we can’t imagine anyone needing to use it. "

- Metku:
"Overall then, the 800D is exactly what it says in the tin - an enthusiast case that's especially aimed at water coolers. It just seems to check all the boxes so well there's not much to add, really. The build quality and design are outstanding, you can fit everything in there with ease, the cable managing is the best we've seen so far, and the temperature results are good as well."

- techPowerUp:
"Corsair has really done a great job with their first chassis. They have invested a lot of work and thought into the design and look of the chassis. Instead of going with elaborate looks, the Obsidian 800D goes for the understated look with clean lines and functionality on the outside. In the interior, they have managed to take advantage of the large size and divided it into thermal chambers. This does not only make it easier to plan your cable routing, but it also looks much better."

As I have said previously, the Obsidian 800D should be near the top of your list if you're in the market for a new high-end case.
